The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a positive, organized, and compliant experience for CASA volunteers from their initial inquiry through assignment and ongoing service. This position manages the operational aspects of the volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment support, screening and fingerprinting compliance, onboarding logistics, volunteer engagement, and database management. Working closely with the Director of Training and Volunteers, the Coordinator helps ensure both CASA advocates and non-advocate volunteers are properly screened, onboarded, and supported in their service. The role requires strong attention to detail and ownership of compliance processes, including coordinating volunteer fingerprinting and background checks required by CASA, the Kansas CASA Association, and the Office of Judicial Administration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with volunteers while also managing detailed processes and compliance requirements that ensure children are safely and appropriately served.
