As our Voluntary Benefits Consultant on the Voluntary Benefits team, you’ll be the go-to expert for promoting, selling, and managing voluntary benefits programs that help employers and their employees get the most out of their benefits. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, and design tailored benefits solutions that boost employee satisfaction and engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, insurance carriers, and HR professionals to make sure everything runs smoothly, from enrollment to ongoing support. Plus, you’ll lead employee education sessions and keep up with the latest industry trends to keep our offerings fresh and competitive. Our future colleague. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: 5+ years’ experience in voluntary benefits sales, consulting, or related insurance/employee benefits roles Strong knowledge of voluntary benefits products such as supplemental health, life insurance, disability, critical illness, accident insurance, and other ancillary benefits Experience conducting needs assessments and analyzing client requirements to recommend appropriate voluntary benefits products and employee engagement resources Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Willingness and ability to travel locally and long-distance as needed, with reliable transportation for local travel These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: Life/Health license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field Experience conducting employee education sessions or workshops Familiarity with EPIC or similar client data management systems Valid insurance license(s) as required by state regulations Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a consulting environment We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all these boxes. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in voluntary benefits sales, consulting, or related insurance/employee benefits roles
