About The Position

Kendall Auto Group, one of the largest family-owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in Central Oregon, is seeking a Sales Manager for their Volkswagen of Bend team. This is not an entry-level position. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the sales department by coaching and supporting Salespersons. Key duties include working directly with sales staff to assist in closing sales, actively participating in vehicle price negotiation, appraising incoming vehicles, conducting sales meetings and trainings, and supervising sales staff to ensure policy and procedure compliance. Additional responsibilities involve stocking an efficient and profitable vehicle inventory, planning, organizing, and controlling dealership sales activities, and maintaining knowledge of and complying with laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of completing work in a timely fashion, possess superior customer service and communication skills, maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, and treat clientele with the utmost respect.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ work experience with demonstrated success in vehicles sales
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proven success in Automotive Sales
  • Detail oriented
  • Complete work in a timely fashion
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Want to treat our clientele with the upmost respect
  • A valid driver license and good driving record
