About The Position

Kendall Auto Group, one of the largest family-owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in Central Oregon, is seeking a Sales Manager for its Volkswagen of Bend location. This role is not an entry-level position and involves working in a fast-paced environment serving clients. The Sales Manager is crucial for growing the sales department by coaching and supporting Salespersons. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in Automotive Sales, focusing on customer service and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ work experience with demonstrated success in vehicles sales
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven success in Automotive Sales
• Detail oriented
• Complete work in a timely fashion
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
• Want to treat our clientele with the upmost respect
• A valid driver license
• Good driving record

Responsibilities

• Working directly with the sales staff to assist in closing sales
• Actively participate in vehicle price negotiation
• Appraise incoming vehicles
• Conduct sales meetings and trainings
• Supervising sales staff ensuring policy and procedure compliance
• Stocking an efficient and profitable vehicle inventory
• Plan, organize and control dealership sales activities
• Maintaining knowledge and complying with laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales
