Stohlman Volkswagen & Subaru of Tysons is a high-volume, fast-paced, family-owned and operated dealership serving Northern Virginia. We are seeking a driven and experienced Service Express Manager to run our express service lane. Position Summary The Express Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire express service lane operation, leading both service advisors and technicians. This role ensures seamless, efficient, and high-quality customer experience from vehicle check-in through service completion and delivery, while maintaining strong workflow control and team performance.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willing to complete a background screening
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Prior automotive service management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Solid technical knowledge or hands-on automotive experience highly desirable
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Dependable, professional, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full express service lane operation, including advisors and technicians
  • Manage workflow from check-in to final delivery, ensuring speed, accuracy, and quality
  • Drive productivity while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer concerns and ensure timely, professional resolution
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvements to efficiency and communication
  • Collaborate closely with parts and main service departments to streamline operations
  • Maintain consistent service standards aligned with dealership and manufacturer expectations
  • Follow all shop safety standards and procedures
  • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
