About The Position

This project focuses on the optimization of next-generation particle detectors for future collider experiments for high energy physics. The student will assist in implementing and testing automated scripts that explore the detector design space, helping to balance physics performance with engineering constraints. Through this experience, the student will gain practical skills in high energy physics simulation tools and large scale data analysis within a collaborative research environment.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution.
  • Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
