About The Position

Grand Valley State University's Seidman College of Business invites applications for a one-year, renewable (maximum of three years) non-tenure-track position in Finance, beginning Fall 2026. Applicants need a master’s in business administration or equivalent degree. Relevant work experience is desirable. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively. The Department expects faculty members to provide effective teaching (both at the graduate and undergraduate levels), conduct research, and provide service to the university and community at a level commensurate with their rank. The successful candidate would be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester.

Requirements

• Master’s in business administration or equivalent degree
• Demonstrate the ability to teach effectively
• Must have the physical stamina to work long hours and/or more than 5 days per week
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Successful applicants are responsible for ensuring their eligibility to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment.
