About The Position

Grand Valley State University's Seidman College of Business invites applications for a one-year, renewable (maximum of three years) non-tenure-track position in Economics, beginning Fall 2026. Applicants need a Master’s in Economics, a Master’s in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree. Relevant work experience is desirable. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively. The Department expects faculty members to provide effective teaching, conduct research, and provide service to the university and community at a level commensurate with their rank. The successful candidate would be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester.

Requirements

• Master’s in Economics, a Master’s in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree
• Demonstrate the ability to teach effectively
• Must have the physical stamina to work long hours and/or more than 5 days per week
• Successful applicants are responsible for ensuring their eligibility to work in the United States
