About The Position

Grand Valley State University Seidman College of Business invites applications for two one-year, renewable (maximum of three years) non-tenure-track positions in Accounting, beginning Fall 2026. Applicants need a master’s in business administration or equivalent degree. Relevant work experience is desirable. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to teach effectively.

Must have the physical stamina to work long hours and/or more than 5 days per week.
Successful applicants are responsible for ensuring their eligibility to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment.

Responsibilities

The Department expects faculty members to provide effective teaching (both at the graduate and undergraduate levels)
Conduct research
Provide service to the university and community at a level commensurate with their rank
The successful candidate would be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester.
