The Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position. This role is intended for scholars working in the history and theory of architecture and related fields, and aligns with the School’s commitment to critical, historical, and theoretical inquiry as a core component of architectural education. The appointment is for one year and would begin in August 2026 for the 2026-27 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in architectural history and theory, as well as research seminars and other courses aligned with their expertise. In addition, the candidate will be expected to engage collaboratively with faculty and students and contribute to the intellectual life of the School. All teaching activities are conducted in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.
