Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina, welcomes applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology for the 2026–27 academic year. We seek candidates with a background in developmental psychology who are strongly committed to teaching and mentoring students in an undergraduate liberal arts environment that prioritizes experiential learning. Applicants must be able to offer courses in Introduction to Psychology and Infant, Child, Adolescent, and/or Adult Development. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to teach upper level courses in their specialty area and engage students in research and community-based projects. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a commitment to experiential learning and a desire to teach and mentor undergraduate students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This is a 10-month teaching position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026, and an end date of May 31, 2027, with a possibility of a one-year renewal.
