The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a full-time one year visiting assistant professor in the area of developmental psychology beginning July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach Educational Psychology and Developmental psychology, as well as advanced laboratory and seminar courses in their area of specialization. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to undergraduate education who have demonstrated experience mentoring diverse and highly motivated students and an active research program. The teaching load is 5 courses per year (3 in the fall, 2 in the spring). PhD or ABD required. Visiting faculty are welcome, but not required, to engage in scholarship with undergraduate research assistants at Mount Holyoke. The Psychology & Education Department maintains a rich and collaborative environment of active scholarship and mentorship. Mount Holyoke supports faculty scholarship through department funds as well as competitive faculty grants. Laboratory space is available to accommodate research needs.
