About The Position

The Villa Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This role will primarily have shifts in the evening.

Requirements

• Minimum Age – 18 years of age due to type of equipment used.
• Must possess a valid SC Driver’s license.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Entry to mid-level maintenance tech with basic home maintenance skills and experience.
• Directly deals with guest maintenance requests.
• Responsible for the overall upkeep and general maintenance of the privately owned Villas and Homes on the Kiawah Island Golf Resort program.
• Handles all repairs and work orders on a daily basis.
• Conducts on-going maintenance programs.
• Performs preventative maintenance as scheduled: such as replacing bulbs and air filters.
• Drives in company provided vehicle to maintenance calls.
• Some maintenance tasks include minor toilet and other plumbing repairs, changing out electrical switches, replacing vacuums, repairing torn screens, and diagnosing larger problems to ensure they go the correct specialized contractor.
• Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.
