The site of Smyrna based in the United States belongs to POWER Division . We are looking for a VIE Injection Process Engineer for 12 months within the team. Your challenges? You will lead the daily operations of its scope in APU molding, such as continuous improvement, mold configuration and debugging, startup, processing, troubleshooting, and problem solving against objectives assigned by the APU manager. You will spend most of the time on the workshop floor. You will maintain quality standards on all products to ensure manufacturing with zero defect methodology, including process documentation. You will be responsible for manufacturing plastic parts according to specifications in order to meet the quality, cost and delivery time requirements for the site. You will provide support on tooling and the process of launching new products, providing manufacturing and engineering inputs for the development of new processes, parts and tools. You will support the design and approval of the process in accordance with Valeo’s standards and procedures. You will identify opportunities for continuous and lean improvement in existing processes. You will participate in the improvement and definition of standards. You will identify and study potential new concepts and tooling processes. You will constantly apply the security procedures Let’s talk about you… You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering You already have experience in plastic injection or in the automotive industry would be a plus (project or production) You have a fluent level of English You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy You have knowledge of quality tools (capabilities, statistics, DOE) Experience in PFMEA construction Knowledge of Engel IMM, the programming of Fanuc/Kuka robots and/or Allen Bradley PLC would be a plus Please, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers. Requirements

  • You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering
  • You have a fluent level of English
  • You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
  • You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
  • You have knowledge of quality tools (capabilities, statistics, DOE)
  • Experience in PFMEA construction

Nice To Haves

  • You already have experience in plastic injection or in the automotive industry would be a plus (project or production)
  • Knowledge of Engel IMM, the programming of Fanuc/Kuka robots and/or Allen Bradley PLC would be a plus
