About The Position

WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin, is searching for a Part-Time Video Editor. Join our team in a dynamic, inclusive, fast-paced newsroom where we bring our viewers the best in quality news and sports. This is a part-time weekend early mornings position supporting our Morning Newscasts by editing news and sports, posting video to digital platforms and utilizing different sources including feeds, archives, and raw video to assemble various types of news stories. We are a family-owned company committed to storytelling in our local communities. We have an entrepreneurial spirit and are dedicated to digging deep into what our local viewers want to know about.

Requirements

• Non-linear experience
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

Nice To Haves

• Preferably using Edius software
• Previous newscast editing experience
