About The Position

Social Commerce Club is looking for a fast, responsive, and highly organized Video Editor / Media Editor to support content across 3 channels.
This role is for someone who can edit across different formats, move quickly, communicate clearly, and maintain a strong, consistent brand standard. You should be able to handle long-form and short-form while also supporting with thumbnails, visual packaging, captions, and upload descriptions.
We work with low ego, high agency, and competitive speed. We want someone who operates the same way.
This job is remote but the team works in Penticton, BC. Must be able to work during business hours (9-5 PST).

• Strong experience editing both long-form and short-form content
• Ability to design thumbnails
• Strong sense of branding consistency
• Fast turnaround times

• Able to work independently without needing to be managed closely
• Comfortable with revisions and collaborative back-and-forth

Responsibilities

• Editing long-form video
• Editing short-form video
• Creating YouTube thumbnails
• Creating headers/thumbnails / visual assets for YouTube and Shorts
• Writing quick recap descriptions for uploads
• Adding captions / subtitles
• Handling revisions and back-and-forth collaboration with the team
• Keeping content visually consistent across branding
