About The Position

The Video Editor / Photographer at GPRS is responsible for producing high quality video and photo content that supports company storytelling, recruitment, social media strategy, client education, and internal communications. This role manages the full production workflow—from pre-production planning through on site capture and post production editing. A key element of this position is using AI tools to accelerate production, streamline editing, enhance visual assets, and help the creative team move faster without sacrificing quality. You will create dynamic content across formats including interviews, talking head videos, job site ride alongs, promotional videos, social media shorts, animated explainers, and commercial photography. You will also support ongoing photography needs such as employee headshots, new hire portraits, candid images, and marketing collateral. This role is hands on, fast moving, and ideal for a creative storyteller who thrives both behind the camera and in the editing suite.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Videography/Photographer role with experience in pre and postproduction of all content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.
  • Experience with mirrorless camera systems (Sony experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of video structure, pacing, narrative, and storytelling.
  • Ability to light and record professional quality video and audio.
  • Skilled in commercial, event, and portrait photography.
  • Strong working knowledge of MacOS.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and file management abilities.
  • Ability to explain complex topics in clear, digestible ways.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem solving

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mirrorless camera systems (Sony experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Edit short form and long form content in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
  • Use After Effects to create animated explainers, lower thirds, graphics, motion elements, and compositing.
  • Apply AI tools to speed up editing, logging, captioning, color correction, noise reduction, and asset generation.
  • Manage multiple projects with quick turnarounds when needed.
  • Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and project archives.
  • Shoot professional employee headshots and new hire photos.
  • Capture event, commercial, candid, and promotional photography for use in print, web, and social media.
  • Deliver edited, high quality photo assets for the Graphic Design, Writing, and Social Media teams.
  • Develop storyboards, shot lists, interview questions, and content outlines.
  • Write scripts or interview frameworks for compelling and digestible storytelling.
  • Translate complex or technical topics into simple, engaging visual stories.
  • Travel Must be willing to travel for testimonial interviews, tradeshows, field documentation, or specialized service line shoots. Some trips may require overnight stays or same day turnarounds
