The VP Specialty Outpatient Business Development will manage business development activities for CPS Specialty Pharmacy Services for an assigned area / region of the U.S. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of recent high-level healthcare sales experience; specialty pharmacy sales preferred
• Adept at using computer technology tools, MS Office suite to communicate and develop presentations
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and client-level personnel
• Residence near major airport
• Ability to travel by air up to 50% of the time away from home location
• Ability to travel away from home location by air or car
• Ability to meet company standards for a Motor Vehicle Report

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business with hospitals / health systems with C-suite leaders
• Develop new, strategic relationships with Pharmacy and C-suite leaders
• Collaborate with key operations peers on prospect assessments
• Build and present value added proposals and presentations to Pharmacy leaders and C-suite level
• Drive new contract growth for the assigned areas of responsibility
