In UniGroup’s cooperative model, business development means more than pursuing sales - it’s about expanding opportunity and shared success across a member-owned network. The Vice President, Specialty Logistics will define and drive UniGroup’s growth strategy in specialized logistics segments, building partnerships, shaping business cases, and guiding initiatives that deliver measurable commercial impact. While titled as a Vice President, this is an individual contributor role designed for a strategic, hands-on leader who influences through expertise, insight, and relationships rather than direct staff management. This position is not focused on day-to-day operational oversight. It is ideal for a go-getter who thrives on creating strategy, assessing feasibility, and bringing ideas to life through collaboration with UniGroup’s members, leadership, and Board members. Reporting to the Chief Growth and Experience Officer, the Vice President, Specialty Logistics serves as a key member of UniGroup’s Growth and Experience leadership team and a strategic conduit between the cooperative, its members, and commercial partners. This executive will spearhead initiatives that expand UniGroup’s presence in the specialty logistics market by identifying new revenue opportunities, evaluating financial and operational viability, and building consensus around paths for sustainable growth. Specialty logistics at UniGroup involves high-value, high-touch shipments such as trade show exhibits, medical and healthcare equipment, technology products, and final-mile deliveries. It requires precision, creativity, and partnership - qualities this leader will champion across UniGroup’s network.
