The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for growing ConGlobal’s business with beneficial cargo owners (BCOs) involved in all service areas & segments (i.e., manufacturing, retail, wholesale, e-commerce, consumer, industrial, automotive, etc.). This position will require a “hunter” who will grow business through direct outreach, industry networking, and relationships with other supply chain partners. This role will provide 40% strategic oversight to the Business Development team and 60% hands-on hunting, selling and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in both areas of the role. The ideal candidate for this role will be located in Chicago, IL or Fort Worth, TX and available to work on-site in either corporate office in a hybrid capacity. Candidates outside of those locations will be considered if they are open to the travel required for the role (greater than 50% of the time).
