Overview The Center for Inclusive Growth (CFIG) is Mastercard’s social impact and inclusive economy hub. At the heart of Mastercard’s objective to be a force for good in the world, the Center ensures that the benefits of an expanding digital economy accrue to all segments of society. Through actionable insights, impact data science, corporate philanthropy and investments, partnerships, and strategic convenings, CFIG advances equitable economic growth and financial inclusion globally. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Social Impact (Americas), the Vice President for North America (NAM) will lead the Center’s strategy and execution across the U.S. and Canada as an individual contributor, supported by broader team resources. Role Serve as a strategic operator and integrator for the Center’s North America portfolio, functioning as both a program leader, liaison to the broader Mastercard business, and key driver of team operations to drive execution and alignment across programs, partnerships, and commercialization initiatives.

Requirements

  • You understand both the private and social sectors:
  • Proven experience in strategic operations, business development, or management consulting roles with exposure to social impact or inclusive growth.
  • Experience managing operations from strategy to execution.
  • Strong background in revenue-generating partnerships and commercialization strategies.
  • Ability to integrate social impact objectives with business priorities.
  • Experience in philanthropy and/or corporate social responsibility.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment.

  • Advanced degree in business, economics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CFIG’s core social impact agenda across NAM—including financial health, small business resilience, cybersecurity/digitization, and inclusive innovation.
  • Design and implement high-impact programs and philanthropic investments.
  • Manage and scale flagship initiatives such as Strive USA.
  • Strengthen governance, performance tracking, and impact reporting.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with nonprofits, research institutions, and commercial partners.
  • Lead regional convenings and thought leadership activities.
  • Drive commercialization opportunities for the Center’s work.
  • Support client development and customer partnership strategies.
  • Embed inclusive growth value propositions into Mastercard’s client development and products.
  • Develop scalable inclusive growth offerings that advance both social impact and commercial objectives.
  • Translate social impact achievements into customer-facing narratives.
  • Position CFIG programs as strategic assets for government policy objectives.
  • Support Mastercard’s policy objectives through insights and demonstrations.
  • Advance public–private partnerships aligned with digitization, cybersecurity, financial inclusion, and small business growth.
  • Partner closely with NAM leadership and business teams and cross-functional units.
  • Build relationships with public, private, and social sector leaders.
  • Lead employee engagement and internal convenings related to NAM social impact.
  • Represent CFIG and Mastercard at public-facing events.
  • Support research and storytelling advancing inclusive growth.
  • Champion data-driven narratives for market-facing communications.
  • Drive oversight and management of operations for the Americas team.
