The SEC Reporting team is responsible for preparing the quarterly and annual financial statements for filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and partners closely with Investor Relations (IR), General Counsel’s Office (GCO) and Corporate Affairs & Communications (CA&C) in the Company’s quarterly earnings release process, annual Investor Days and other investor presentations. The team’s main stakeholders are senior leaders of the company including the Disclosure Committee, CFO, Corporate Controller, IR, General Counsel’s Office and CA&C. While the team owns deliverables on a quarterly cadence, no two quarters are the same due to the ever-evolving storyline of the company’s performance and aspirations. Team members across levels have high exposure to senior leaders, making a culture of discourse, innovation and diverse thinking key to the team’s success.

Requirements

  • Strong technical understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations (public accounting experience a plus).
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and leverage relationships across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, including process and control enhancements.
  • Agile mindset – positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a New York based team of 12 colleagues.
  • Work with teams from across Finance and beyond to understand and report on the company’s holistic performance.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly for senior audiences.
  • Be first point of contact for PwC regarding external reporting disclosures.
  • Use curiosity and reporting acumen to identify opportunities to improve our external financial disclosures.
  • Provide external perspective through participation in industry groups and peer benchmarking.
  • Leverage technical and reporting expertise to support critical Company initiatives.
