Hannaford offers a flexible work environment, with a hybrid work expectation for field-based positions of being physically present in-store and/or a General Office in your territory at least 3 days a week. Prospective candidates must reside in one of the following states: NY, VT or MA, with NY being preferred. Position Summary: Provides divisional operational leadership while effectively balancing the needs of associates, customers, and stakeholders. Ensures operational execution of all division policies, plans and programs in all retail areas to maximize sales and profit objectives. Strategically plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of district Directors of Operation and their staff specialists to achieve division sales, profit, and operating objectives. Reviews store operating results in relation to projected objectives and oversees the implementation of appropriate investigative, remedial, improvement or reward systems. Effectively guides the culture through personal leadership and support. Leads a comprehensive divisional talent development process that identifies and develops talented associates to provide strong leadership succession depth.
