The Opportunity at Komodo Health The Vice President, Presales Solutions Group serves as the leader for a team of presales Solutions Engineers and subject matter expert Strategists for Komodo’s Revenue Team across all market segments.. This role is designed to lead and manage the team that partners with the Growth and Retention sales team and acts as the primary technical interface for our clients and partners. You and your team will ensure that Komodo’s solutions are properly scoped, architected and presented to align with customer needs and requirements. Ultimately, you and your team drive growth and retention.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience with a significant focus on high-growth SaaS, analytics, or AI environments.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, specifically having scaled a presales and/or technical consulting organization, ideally from an earlier stage to a multi-layered enterprise team.
  • Strategic Breadth: Proven ability to influence internal product direction and external customer strategy simultaneously.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience navigating the Life Sciences and/or Healthcare space.
  • Technical Literacy: Awareness of data science tools, cloud technologies, and AL/ML applications.
  • Judgement & Creativity: Applies AI strategically, knowing how to use the right tools at the right time to solve problems or generate new ideas.
  • Uses AI to accelerate feedback loops, test ideas, and make informed decisions faster.
  • Applies both judgment and creativity when working with AI and understands its limitations.
  • Educates and enables others in the proper use of AI in the pre-sales domain.
  • Curiosity & Initiative: Demonstrates curiosity and initiative in exploring new AI tools and workflows relevant to their role.
  • Has developed or shared AI-enhanced workflows, automations, or prompts with others.
  • Integration & Productivity: Brings a reflexive AI mindset and uses AI as a natural part of their process to iterate, research, and deliver better work.
  • Comfortable working in AI-enhanced environments across writing, data analysis, content creation, or design.
  • Regularly leverages AI tools such as Gemini, Cursor, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot i.e. to improve speed, clarity, or creative output.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the team that partners with Sales (Growth and Retention) to define market-winning strategies that align with Komodo's overarching business objectives.
  • Executive Advisory: Lead and manage the team that acts as technical diplomats to C-suite stakeholders, translating business hurdles into actionable solutions using Komodo’s suite of products and Healthcare Map.
  • Presales Solutions: Lead and manage the team that oversees the creation of customer-specific technical solutions that address requirements and long-term goals.
  • Cross-functional Synergy: Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to craft and deliver compelling value propositions and demonstrations.
  • Innovation Advocacy: Lead and manage the team that provides thought leadership on the application of analytics and healthcare data to drive measurable customer success.
