The Vice President of Technology Operations & Cybersecurity is a key leadership role responsible for defining and driving Xponential Fitness' enterprise-wide technology operations strategy, overseeing global infrastructure, IT service delivery, and operational excellence across corporate, brand, and studio environments. Reporting to the CTO, this role leads the operational arm of the Cybersecurity & Operational Technology pillar, partnering with the CTO, engineering, and senior business leaders to build a secure-by-design ecosystem, modernize cloud and network platforms, optimize service delivery across thousands of endpoints, and enforce governance to reduce Shadow IT risk. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience scaling high-performing IT organizations, leading large-scale technology transformations in complex, distributed environments, and balancing strategic vision with disciplined execution while influencing at the executive level.

  • Develop and lead the enterprise IT operations strategy aligned with corporate priorities, digital transformation goals, and the CTO's technology roadmap.
  • Build, scale, and inspire a high-performing, multi-disciplinary IT organization spanning operations, infrastructure, cloud services, service desk, and systems administration.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, operational KPIs, and accountability frameworks to drive excellence across all technology operations.
  • Foster an executive-level culture of collaboration, operational rigor, continuous improvement, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Provide executive oversight for the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud platforms, networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery environments.
  • Ensure enterprise systems meet standards for performance, resiliency, high availability, and security.
  • Set strategic direction for modernization of cloud and on-prem environments, including cost optimization and scalability planning.
  • Sponsor the adoption of advanced monitoring, observability, and automation technologies to support proactive operations.
  • Oversee global IT service desks, incident response functions, operational support, and enterprise service management.
  • Establish ITSM frameworks, SLAs, and performance dashboards to deliver consistent, high-quality service to corporate teams, brand leaders, and franchise operators.
  • Drive operational maturity across incident, problem, change, and configuration management processes.
  • Serve as executive escalation point for major incidents, ensuring rapid triage, stakeholder communication, and recovery.
  • Oversee root cause analyses and formalize preventative controls that strengthen operational resilience.
  • Champion enterprise readiness through ongoing improvement of incident response procedures.
  • Own the governance and oversight of technology changes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop enterprise-wide standards for documentation, communication, risk assessment, and post-implementation review.
  • Ensure best-in-class IT service delivery to internal teams, franchise operators, and brand stakeholders.
  • Continuously measure and optimize service models through data-driven insights, user feedback, and operational benchmarking.
  • Evolve service portfolios and define forward-looking capabilities that support rapid business growth.
  • Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to implement secure-by-design practices across all technology operations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, industry, and internal compliance requirements.
  • Strengthen identity, access, and endpoint governance in alignment with enterprise security objectives.
  • Drive enterprise-level reduction of Shadow IT risk through proactive governance and visibility programs.
  • Own the IT operations budget, forecasting, and resource capacity planning.
  • Optimize cost structure across cloud platforms, infrastructure, tools, and managed services.
  • Lead vendor negotiations, strategic sourcing decisions, and performance management for key technology partners.
  • Shape long-term IT operational strategies that align with Xponential's franchising, brand expansion, and digital product roadmaps.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for automation, process optimization, and emerging technology adoption.
  • Advise the CTO and executive team on technology trends, operational risks, and transformation opportunities.
  • Establish enterprise guardrails, governance frameworks, and monitoring systems that proactively detect and prevent unauthorized SaaS or technology adoption.
  • Collaborate across cybersecurity, finance, procurement, and legal to align policy-driven governance with business agility.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, education programs, and technology intake workflows that channel innovation into compliant, secure solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 12-15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including oversight of enterprise infrastructure and IT operations.
  • 5+ years in senior/executive IT leadership (e.g., Sr. Director, VP, Head of IT Operations).
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale technology operations and infrastructure modernizations in a distributed or multi-location environment.
  • Extensive experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), enterprise networks, and IT infrastructure at scale.
  • Deep expertise in IT service management, incident response, and operational governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across executive, technical, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience owning technology budgets and optimizing spend.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience designing governance programs that detect and reduce Shadow IT.
  • Experience operating in matrixed organizations where cybersecurity, engineering, and infrastructure functions are jointly owned across multiple leaders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure architect) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with discovery technologies, CASBs, endpoint visibility platforms, and SaaS governance tools.
