About The Position

Kovalus is seeking an experienced, results oriented Vice President of Sales for the Americas region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of a strong leader, managing sales team with diverse background and increasing sales and market share in a highly technical and solutions-based business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar leadership role.
  • Experience in commercial role related to separation technologies used in Water and Wastewater, Food and Beverage, Pharma and Industrial markets like automotive, pulp and paper, mining and Lithium is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve annual bookings, revenue and margin targets for Americas region.
  • Protect existing installed base and identify new business opportunities to grow recurring consumable and large capital systems/solutions business.
  • Understand risk profile to negotiate terms and conditions and close high level complex deals ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Sales Talent: Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team, fostering a high performance and accountability-based culture.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and manage all aspects of client relationship for key strategic accounts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate insights into sales strategies. Network with industry leaders, experts and consultants to gather and provide feedback on market trends and dynamics.
  • Recommend target sectors after evaluating market & technology trends, competitive landscape, and product and service offering gaps.
  • Work with leadership team on strategic initiatives to drive global sales growth for membranes.
