About The Position

The Vice President of Regional Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple large regional laundry facilities. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence, financial performance, growth, and profitability across the region. The VP of Regional Operations partners closely with corporate leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance with company policies, and delivery of high‑quality service to customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of senior management experience in laundry operations or a similar operational environment, including customer and contract‑based service experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with a high level of initiative, accountability, flexibility, and responsibility.
  • In‑depth knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficiency in Windows‑based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and sales support is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for regional plant operations, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and consistency across all facilities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop plant leadership teams, ensuring appropriate staffing, succession planning, and professional development.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, service, and cost control; develop reporting processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee fiscal performance for each facility, including revenue, expenses, profit, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure retention of the customer base by building strong client relationships, supporting contract renewals, and addressing service concerns proactively.
  • Support the sales process and ensure successful onboarding and ramp‑up of new hospital and customer accounts.
  • Maintain accountability for company assets, including engineering oversight, preventive maintenance programs, and cost‑effective plant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all human resources requirements, including training, regulatory compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and execute short‑term and long‑term operational objectives to ensure responsiveness, flexibility, and efficiency in a results‑driven environment.
  • Build and sustain cohesive, cross‑functional teams capable of advancing the company’s operational excellence and organizational initiatives.
