Habitat KC is looking for an experienced human resources leader who will be responsible for developing HR strategies, building out a people strategy, overseeing HR operations and ensuring compliance. This role supports team members, leads HR initiatives, and provides guidance. Strong leadership, effective communication, business strategy, attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. The Vice President of People and Culture originates and leads human resources practices, processes and objectives that will provide a high performance, team member-oriented culture that emphasizes engagement and productivity. Recruitment of talent for the ongoing development of a superior workforce is a primary objective for this role. This key leadership role serves as a trusted advisor to team members, managers, and senior leaders across all departments (Homeowner Services, Construction, Community Engagement, ReStore and Finance) thus building strong working relationships is critical for success
