About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing, substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Job Summary The Vice President of Payer Relations provides executive leadership over all managed care strategy, payer contracting, and reimbursement optimization initiatives. This leader is accountable for commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and value-based agreements across multiple states. The role drives payer partnership alignment with long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA or related graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in managed care contracting within behavioral health or healthcare services.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating Medicaid and commercial agreements; multistate preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of behavioral health, Substance Use Disorder, crisis services and integrated care reimbursement models required.
  • Experience in rate modeling and value-based financial models strongly preferred
