Organizations including Clorox and the United Nations drive results through accelerated development and real-time publishing using Pantheon’s collaborative workflows. The Role Are you a transformational leader ready to build a world-class agency partnership program from the ground up? Pantheon is seeking a Vice President of Partnerships to define and execute a global strategy for our agency ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to reimagine every aspect of our partner program from design and tooling to co-selling and co-marketing initiatives, establishing Pantheon as the partner of choice for leading digital agencies worldwide. You’ll drive revenue growth, elevate partner experiences, and build a high-performing partnerships organization that sets an industry benchmark.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in partnerships, alliances, or channel strategy within technology; 7–10 years in executive leadership roles.
  • Proven track record building and scaling multi-million-dollar partner ecosystems in PaaS/SaaS, enterprise software, or web infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in agency partnership models, including digital agencies, systems integrators, or professional services firms.
  • Demonstrated success designing partnership programs, systems, and teams from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and operational capabilities, including P&L ownership and partnership economic modeling.
  • Familiarity with the web development and digital experience ecosystem, including CMS platforms, web hosting, and agency services portfolios.
  • Understanding of enterprise web platform buyers across verticals such as higher education, government, healthcare, and media/publishing.
  • Global mindset with experience managing partnerships across multiple geographies.
  • Executive presence with ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with C-level partners.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills in matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and storytelling skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Willingness to travel 40–50% for partner meetings, events, and team gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Vision Architect and execute a comprehensive global agency partnership strategy that positions Pantheon as the preferred platform partner.
  • Own P&L responsibility for partnership-influenced and partnership-sourced revenue, setting clear growth targets and accountability metrics.
  • Design a multi-tiered partner program, including economic models, benefits frameworks, and performance incentives.
  • Define the partner value proposition and competitive differentiation to attract top-tier agencies.
  • Expand Pantheon’s presence in key markets, initially North America, with plans for EMEA and APAC.
  • Program Development & Operations Build partner programs and infrastructure, including onboarding systems, enablement curricula, certification frameworks, and performance tools.
  • Implement scalable co-selling and co-marketing frameworks to grow agency professional services alongside Pantheon platform sales.
  • Develop data-driven approaches for partner segmentation, engagement tracking, and ROI measurement.
  • Create partner directory strategies to maximize lead generation and customer-agency matching.
  • Relationship Management & Ecosystem Development Establish executive relationships with C-level leaders at strategic agency partners.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new strategic partners that expand Pantheon’s capabilities and market reach.
  • Launch partner advisory councils and feedback mechanisms to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Pantheon at industry events to strengthen ecosystem relationships and brand awareness.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to align on co-selling, co-marketing, enablement, and compensation strategies.
  • Drive seamless collaboration across teams to maximize partner impact on customer success and revenue growth.
  • Team Building & Leadership Build and lead a high-performing partnerships organization, recruiting and developing top talent.
  • Establish team structures optimized for partner recruitment, enablement, and growth management.
  • Create a performance-driven culture focused on partner success, revenue outcomes, and operational excellence.
