The Vice President of Operations must reside in Arizona and maintain a consistent daily on-campus presence. At our faith-based, mission-driven senior living organization, we believe every resident deserves a place to thrive — and every team member deserves leadership that inspires excellence, compassion, and accountability. We are seeking a strategic, people-centered operations executive to provide hands-on leadership across our expansive continuum of care, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, HUD Housing, Home Health, and an additional community in Cottonwood, Arizona. This is a highly visible, campus-based executive role requiring strong in-person leadership, meaningful relationship-building, and operational oversight across multiple service lines. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience in managing operations in CCRC’s or the Senior Living industry.
  • 10+ years of senior living executive leadership (IL/AL/MC/Supportive Housing preferred).
  • Proven success in improving operations, strengthening financial performance, and supporting occupancy growth.
  • Strong knowledge of senior living regulations and best practices.
  • A servant‑leader guided by Christian values of compassion, humility, and integrity.
  • A strategic thinker who inspires teams and builds strong, mission‑aligned cultures.
  • A confident communicator able to lead through change and communicate with clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide campus-wide leadership across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Subsidized Housing.
  • Translate organizational strategy into measurable goals that strengthen resident experience, occupancy, and operational performance.
  • Build systems, teams, and processes that support long‑term growth and mission impact.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for assigned communities.
  • Oversee capital planning and stewardship of physical assets in alignment with responsible non-profit management.
  • Use data, KPIs, and strategic insight to guide operations and financial decision‑making.
  • Champion a hospitality‑minded, resident-focused, and occupancy-aligned culture.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to ensure operational readiness that supports timely move‑in and exceptional first impressions.
  • Ensure every resident and family interaction reflects warmth, compassion, and excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with all state regulations, licensing standards, and audit expectations.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and proactive risk management.
  • Lead 7–8 operational department heads; cultivate a culture of trust, accountability, and spiritual alignment with our mission.
  • Mentor and develop emerging leaders for future roles.
  • Model grace, professionalism, and Christian values in leadership practice.
  • Serve as a representative of our Mission, Vision, and Values at events, in the community, and across the organization.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, churches, vendors, and partners.
