About The Position

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for executing the company’s vision through day-to-day operations, ensuring strategic objectives set by the COO and executive leadership are translated into consistent operational practices, priorities, and measurable results across all departments. Department heads report directly to the Vice President of Operations, who is accountable for alignment, performance, and execution at the departmental level. Serving as an extension of the COO, the Vice President of Operations supports operational priorities and drives accountability to ensure strategic plans are executed effectively organization wide.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations, project management, or executive-level support roles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to incorporate data into clear insights
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary support to the COO in executing the company’s vision and strategic priorities through daily operational leadership
  • Ensure departmental goals, workflows, and decision-making align with company strategy
  • Serve as the primary operational leader for department managers, providing direction, support, and accountability
  • Directly oversee department managers and ensure alignment with company priorities and operational standards
  • Lead cross-departmental planning, execution, and issue resolution
  • Track progress on company-wide priorities and follow up on action items
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive corrective action at the departmental level
  • Support the development, documentation, and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Assist in scaling systems and processes to support company growth
  • Drive consistency in standards and expectations across all departments
  • Hold department leaders accountable for performance, execution, and results
  • Ensure departmental KPIs and initiatives directly support company-level objectives
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support executive decision-making
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, operational check-ins, and execution follow-ups with department heads
  • Ensure clear, consistent communication of priorities and expectations across teams and departments
  • Assist with leadership alignment, internal communications, and change management initiatives
