About The Position

Gymreapers is seeking a highly strategic and operator-minded Vice President of Finance to lead and scale the company’s financial function as we grow from in our next phase of grwoth. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, owning financial strategy and overall financial performance across all business channels (Amazon, DTC, Wholesale). The VP of Finance will not only oversee FP&A and accounting, but will actively shape company strategy, drive profitability, and build the financial infrastructure required to support rapid growth, new vertical expansion, and potential capital events.

Requirements

  • 8–15+ years of experience in finance (FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or senior finance leadership)
  • Proven experience leading finance in a high-growth consumer or ecommerce business
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Deep understanding of unit economics, contribution margin, and cash flow dynamics
  • Experience managing and scaling teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in $20M–$200M+ consumer brands or ecommerce businesses
  • Background in founder-led or private equity-backed companies
  • Experience with inventory-heavy and multi-channel businesses (Amazon/DTC/Wholesale)
  • Familiarity with BI tools and financial systems implementation

Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Own the company’s financial strategy, including long-term planning and growth roadmap
  • Partner with CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives and major business decisions
  • Translate company vision into actionable financial plans and KPIs
  • Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Capital Allocation & Profitability
  • Optimize capital allocation across inventory, marketing, hiring, and real estate investments
  • Drive EBITDA growth through margin expansion and cost discipline
  • Evaluate ROI across all major investments (marketing, product launches, expansion initiatives)
  • Build frameworks for prioritizing high-return initiatives
  • Financial Operations & Infrastructure
  • Oversee FP&A, accounting, and financial reporting functions
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance
  • Build scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support growth
  • Improve cash flow visibility and working capital management
  • Strategic Finance & Growth Initiatives
  • Lead financial modeling for new verticals (supplements, gyms, retail expansion)
  • Support pricing strategy, promotional planning, and margin optimization
  • Evaluate expansion opportunities (new channels, partnerships, acquisitions)
  • Prepare company for future capital events (debt financing, private equity, or exit)
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Finance
  • Oversee inventory strategy and working capital efficiency
  • Optimize cash conversion cycle and inventory turns
  • Partner with operations to align demand planning with financial goals
  • Manage financial impact of freight, landed costs, and supplier decisions
  • Team Building & Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team (FP&A, accounting, analysts)
  • Develop talent and establish clear performance standards
  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and leadership teams
