Position Overview: The VP, Finance Global Operations will serve as a critical link between finance and supply chain operations, ensuring that financial strategies align with procurement, production, logistics, and distribution activities. This role is responsible for analyzing supply chain costs, optimizing working capital, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making across the end-to-end value chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in finance, supply chain, or operations roles.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis Develop, maintain and improve financial models to evaluate supply chain performance.
- Provide cost-to-serve analysis and profitability assessments across products, regions, and channels.
- Supply Chain Integration Partner with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align financial objectives with operational goals.
- Support integrated business planning (IBP) processes with financial insights.
- Working Capital Optimization Monitor inventory, payables, and receivables to improve cash flow efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce excess stock and streamline payment terms.
- Risk Management & Compliance Assess financial risks within supply chain contracts and vendor agreements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Reporting Prepare dashboards and reports highlighting supply chain KPIs, variances, and trends.
- Present findings to senior leadership with recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement, Automation & AI Enablement Streamline finance processes and eliminate manual work through automation.
- Implement and maintain tools that improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Monitor automated processes and refine them based on performance data.
- Promote continuous improvement practices across the finance team.
- Leverage AI and machine‑learning tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate routine analysis, and improve decision‑making speed.
