About The Position

This is a newly created VP-level role, a direct signal that paid digital acquisition is a top strategic priority for 10X Health in 2026 and beyond. You will own every paid channel we use to acquire customers: Meta, Google, YouTube, X, Reddit, CTV, and whatever comes next. You'll also own SEO and AI-driven organic search strategy, ensuring 10X Health wins both the paid and organic sides of the acquisition funnel. You are a player-coach. You'll lead a team of performance marketers and specialists, but you know the craft deeply enough to get into an ad account, run a creative audit, pull a keyword list, or gut-check a media plan without needing someone to translate it for you. You set the strategy, you lead the execution, and you're never too senior to know what's actually happening in the accounts. You'll work closely with the VP of eCommerce because you understand that acquisition doesn't end at the click. You think about landing pages, conversion flow, and what happens when paid traffic hits the site. This individual will report directly to the CMO and be a core member of the marketing leadership team.

Requirements

  • Technically fluent. You can pull a keyword report, assess a landing page conversion flow, and speak intelligently about ad auction dynamics. You're a leader who knows the work deeply enough to lead it smart.
  • Full-funnel thinker. You understand that the job doesn't end at the click. You think about landing pages, customer flow, and conversion, and you're a strong partner for whoever owns the site.
  • Analytically rigorous. You make decisions from data, build dashboards that matter, and know how to work with imperfect attribution rather than wait for perfect data.
  • Proven team builder. You know how to hire and lead great performance marketers, develop them, and create a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Strong communicator. You translate channel performance into business impact for a CEO who cares about revenue, not impressions.
  • 10–12+ years in performance marketing or digital growth, with at least 5 years leading teams and owning acquisition budgets at the Director or VP level
  • You have managed $10M+ in annual paid media spend and you understand the mechanics, not just the dashboard. You can get into a Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads account and know exactly what you're looking at.

Nice To Haves

  • You've marketed health, wellness, supplements, diagnostics, or a considered-purchase consumer category. You understand that selling a genetic test is not the same as selling a t-shirt.
  • You've rebuilt or reactivated a disrupted acquisition program and know what it takes to stabilize before you scale.
  • Experience with B2B co-marketing or partnership-driven acquisition campaigns.
  • Familiarity with telehealth or clinic-based services alongside DTC product marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid digital programs end to end, strategy, audience architecture, creative testing, bidding, and budget allocation
  • Build a testing framework that generates real insights. Audit accounts, spot inefficiency, and fix it
  • Set ROAS and CPL targets and be accountable to them. Every dollar of spend needs to earn its place.
  • Own YouTube acquisition, TikTok paid, and CTV strategy. Understand how video drives both upper-funnel awareness and lower-funnel conversion and build campaigns accordingly.
  • Brief creative effectively because you understand what performs… not just what looks good
  • Evaluate new platforms with a disciplined ROI lens - no chasing trends without a hypothesis
  • Own our search strategy, keyword architecture, content production for search, and technical SEO priorities
  • Build a point of view on AI-driven discovery: Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT search. These are surfaces where health decisions are being made and we need to win there.
  • Develop the AIO playbook and own the strategy for how 10X Health shows up in LLM-generated recommendations
  • Hire, develop, and manage performance marketers - paid media buyers across search, social, and video, plus SEO and content specialists.
  • Set clear KPIs, run tight daily/weekly reviews, and build a culture of ownership
  • Partner closely with the VP of eCommerce on traffic quality and conversion handoff. You care about what happens after your ad runs.
  • Work with the Creative Director on briefs and asset performance. Partner with Product Marketing on messaging. Translate data into business impact when you're in the room with leadership.
