About The Position

The Vice President of Data Architecture & Marketing Solutions is a senior technology leader responsible for designing, governing, and scaling the company’s data across the enterprise and leveraging client data in support of sale and marketing objectives. This role ensures that core platforms—Point-of-Sale (POS), membership solutions, CRM, ERP, HRIS, finance, supply chain, and operational technologies are integrated, reliable, secure, and optimized to support rapid growth across a multi‑location car wash network. The VP will establish a modern data architecture that enables real‑time operational insights, advanced analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making while partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Executive Leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems, data architecture, or technology leadership roles.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role (Director+ or equivalent), preferably in multi‑site, consumer‑facing, or subscription‑based businesses.
  • Proven success leading large‑scale system implementations and data transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of: Enterprise application ecosystems (ERP, CRM, POS, HRIS)
  • Modern data architectures (cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs)
  • Analytics and BI platforms
  • Strong vendor and systems integration experience.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and HR leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, execution‑oriented mindset.
  • Experience scaling systems and teams in high‑growth environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, QSR, hospitality, automotive services, or similar distributed operations environments is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IoT and operational data is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define, execute, and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy, including data models, pipelines, and governance.
  • Establish a single source of truth for operational, customer, and financial data.
  • Work with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to support scalable reporting solutions, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
  • Develop sustainable data integrations between the enterprise software architecture to ensure data accuracy and to streamline business processes
  • Implement data governance frameworks covering data quality, ownership, access controls, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, and business leaders to protect enterprise integrations and sensitive data.
  • Work with CTO and CMO to establish the strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management of all Sales and Marketing related solutions, including: Membership and subscription systems CRM and customer engagement platforms ECommerce Solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration and data flow across systems to support end‑to‑end business processes.
  • Lead system selection, vendor management, contract negotiations, and implementation initiatives.
  • Support field operations with reliable, high‑availability systems that minimize downtime and improve customer experience.
  • Leverage data and automation to drive consistency across sites, reduce manual processes, and improve scalability.
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing to analyze membership programs, pricing strategies, and customer retention.
  • Build and lead high‑performing teams across, data engineering, and analytics.
  • Establish clear operating models, standards, and development paths for technical talent.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on technology, data, and systems‑related decisions.
  • Support M&A activity by driving systems integration, data migration, and platform rationalization.
  • Align technology investments with business strategy, growth plans, and ROI expectations.
