About The Position

Responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to maximize financial performance for Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos. Provides leadership for all marketing and VIP marketing activities, including but not limited to: Advertising Caesars Rewards All direct marketing activities/strategies Property promotional activities/strategies All property communications – internal and external Casino marketing – all player development, casino host activities, and operations

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • BS/BA or ten (10) years in relevant management experience required.
  • Five years of direct responsibility with revenue generation responsibility required.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).
  • Strategic planning, leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Professional appearance, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible schedule, and travel as needed.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, travel as needed, and maintain flexible hours (including weekends/holidays).
  • Must tolerate varying conditions (noise, temperature, smoke) and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable in environments with noise, crowds, and secondhand smoke.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Create and adapt marketing strategies, budgets, and business plans aligned with Harrah’s Cherokee Casino's mission and values.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day operations, ensure departmental compliance with standards, and monitor performance against goals.
  • Financial Management: Analyze operating results, costs, and forecasts; develop short- and long-term revenue and expense plans.
  • Team Development: Set performance expectations, coach and mentor staff, foster a positive work environment, and prepare Team Members for career growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop programming that appeals to all segments of guests; ensure exceptional service and an entertaining environment.
  • Marketing Execution: Develop direct marketing, events & promotions, advertising, and entertainment strategies to drive revenue and strengthen brand value.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Uphold regulatory standards, company policies, and foster a culture of integrity and compliance.
