About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President level Lead Securities Product Owner to join our Product Management team. This role will focus on the Credit line of business and related product offerings and workflows. In this role, you will: Define and own the Credit product vision and roadmap, aligning with Wells Fargo's growth objectives. Facilitate frequent collaboration between Lines of businesses, Product, Technology, COO, Control, Compliance and other partner teams throughout the product lifecycle. Influence executive stakeholders and governance forums to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources. Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimization. Drive enhancements in trading capabilities, electronic execution, and risk management tools. Ensure compliance with OCC, FRB, NFA, and Wells Fargo's risk frameworks. Champion robust controls and governance across product development processes. Work within an Agile Product Development framework (e.g. Scrum, etc.), workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence & Jira to document and deliver business requirements and acceptance criteria. Mentor and develop junior product managers; foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of industry related experience
  • Experience with Credit Cash and Derivative products (e.g. SN CDS, CDX, Index Options, TRS, Credit ETFs) and Portfolio Trading
  • Prior experience in product development, product management or change management capacity
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, engineering, math, economics, finance, or related field
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
