The Vice President of Information Technology serves as the executive leader for Kubota Tractor Corporation’s full IT landscape. This role oversees three primary functional areas: IT Infrastructure, SAP Applications, and Non‑SAP Applications, along with leadership of the Project Management Office (PMO).
This executive is responsible for shaping and executing Kubota’s enterprise IT strategy to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient technology operations that support business growth and global alignment. The VP will lead modernization initiatives, optimize enterprise platforms—including SAP—and drive operational excellence across all business units.
This role works closely with KTC leadership and Kubota’s global organization to create streamlined, best‑value technology solutions for employees and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in IT administration spanning SAP Applications, information services, systems, and technology, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience, ideally within a global organization.
• Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise IT systems in a fast‑growing environment.
• Experience building and managing IT roadmaps, governance frameworks, and value‑based prioritization models.
• At least two full‑cycle SAP implementation leadership experiences; S/4HANA strongly preferred.
• Deep experience in S/4HANA functionality, release cycles, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to navigate cross‑functional decision‑making, resolve competing priorities, and communicate effectively with both executives and technical teams.
• Deep understanding of IT governance, enterprise architecture, and modern technology delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross‑functional leadership rooted in deep subject‑matter expertise across people, processes, and complex enterprise initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, forward‑looking IT roadmap aligned with Kubota’s long‑term technology vision.
• Lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives that support organizational goals and deliver sustainable business value.
• Enhance efficiency and agility within the SAP environment by promoting ERP best practices, reducing customization, and evaluating emerging technologies.
• Oversee full budget planning, management, and accountability for all IT spending.
• Build strong relationships with diverse business stakeholders and translate technical objectives into clear business improvements.
• Guide teams through major change initiatives, ensuring alignment, communication, and adoption across the enterprise.
• Uphold governance, compliance, and risk‑management standards across all IT functions.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required to support KTC’s strategic priorities.
