About The Position

The Vice President of Information Technology is the senior technology leader responsible for setting strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring technology capabilities align with Skyline’s mission of 'Inspiring people to create impactful experiences.' The role oversees infrastructure, ERP/SAP, business applications, cybersecurity, support operations, enterprise integrations, and cloud platforms. This position serves as Skyline’s de facto Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), governing security policies, controls, and risk frameworks while leading a multi-disciplinary IT team and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive IT experience; 7+ years in leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience with ERP, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and cloud.
  • Strong cybersecurity governance and risk management experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior security-governance leadership experience.
  • Experience overseeing development teams.
  • Certifications: ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP.
  • ERP transitions or cloud migration experience.
  • Experience defining AI strategy, implementing AI governance frameworks, or guiding enterprise adoption of AI/automation technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and execute Skyline’s technology roadmap.
  • Lead modernization initiatives across infrastructure, SAP/ERP, business apps, security, and cloud.
  • Serve as primary authority on cybersecurity governance and risk.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and process improvements.
  • Provide executive-level guidance to support innovation and scalability.
  • Lead Skyline’s AI Council, defining enterprise AI strategy, governance, and prioritization of AI‑driven initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance, roadmap, and governance of SAP, Configure One CPQ, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, Workfront, and other key business systems.
  • Partner with functional leaders to improve processes, enhance data quality, and drive system adoption across departments.
  • Govern enterprise integrations, API strategy, automation solutions, and data exchange frameworks.
  • Ensure application lifecycle management, including upgrades, security, compliance, and long‑term architectural planning.
  • Set architectural standards to support the technology roadmap.
  • Define performance benchmarks and availability goals for enterprise systems.
  • Govern security posture, risk frameworks, and incident response.
  • Direct executive-level business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage executive vendor negotiations and strategic technology partnerships. and performance of servers, storage, networking, cloud, backup/DR, IAM, and communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members.
  • Establish performance metrics and promote cross-training.
  • Manage IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Refine intake, prioritization, and project governance.
