Position Overview: Clarion seeks to hire a Vice President for its Industrial Transactions team to support the company’s investment efforts in the industrial sector. The successful candidate will lead all underwriting for existing and new acquisition/development opportunities in the central region and will have a role in industrial dispositions for the firm. This individual will work across all of Clarion’s funds/initiatives that own, acquire, or develop industrial real estate. They will collaborate closely with our asset management and construction teams on new opportunities. They will also be responsible for maintaining existing external relationships (brokers, developers, lenders, etc.) and establishing new relationships that will benefit the firm. The firm is currently actively investing in the industrial sector via equity and debt on behalf of several Clarion sources of capital (industrial open-end fund, core fund, opportunity zone funds, separate accounts, etc.) and has a history of over $50B in industrial investments in its track record. The candidate should demonstrate strong investment acumen, have a lengthy track record of industrial acquisitions, JV structuring expertise and broad relationships with operators and brokers.
