We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, First Line of Defense Product Governance and Control to join our Global Markets team. This role is located in New York, NY or Lake Mary, FL. This role resides in the Product Governance function of the Global Collateral Client Platform First Line Control Team.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, risk or operational governance is required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including providing technical advice
  • Organized, reliable, mature team player who takes initiative with a strong capacity to work autonomously, responsibility towards client outcomes, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and the team
  • Contributes to an inclusive working culture

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in collateral management, custody and data analytics is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Executing the Platform’s product governance model for U.S. products and strategic initiatives
  • Working closely with U.S. product owners including assessing business change impacts and governance
  • Maintaining the product catalogue
  • Supporting change governance submissions
  • Supporting product planning risk assessments
  • Defining Control requirements for product developments
  • Oversight of regional escalations
  • Support the team’s non-U.S. responsibilities, which include product governance for non-U.S. products and certain regulatory compliance activities
