This specific role, Vice President, First Line of Defense Product Governance and Control, is part of the Global Markets team and is located in New York, NY or Lake Mary, FL.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, risk or operational governance is required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including providing technical advice
  • Organized, reliable, mature team player who takes initiative with a strong capacity to work autonomously, responsibility towards client outcomes, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and the team
  • Contributes to an inclusive working culture

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in collateral management, custody and data analytics is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reside in the Product Governance function of the Global Collateral Client Platform First Line Control Team.
  • Execute the Platform’s product governance model for U.S. products and strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with U.S. product owners including assessing business change impacts and governance
  • Maintain the product catalogue
  • Support change governance submissions
  • Support product planning risk assessments
  • Define Control requirements for product developments
  • Be responsible for the oversight of regional escalations
  • Support the team’s non-U.S. responsibilities, which include product governance for non-U.S. products and certain regulatory compliance activities
