About The Position

This role is for a Vice President, First Line of Defense Product Governance and Control within the Global Markets team, located in New York, NY or Lake Mary, FL. The position is part of the Product Governance function of the Global Collateral Client Platform First Line Control Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Platform’s product governance model for U.S. products and strategic initiatives, working closely with U.S. product owners. This includes assessing business change impacts and governance, maintaining the product catalogue, supporting change governance submissions, supporting product planning risk assessments, and defining Control requirements for product developments. Additionally, the role involves oversight of regional escalations and supporting the team’s non-U.S. responsibilities, such as product governance for non-U.S. products and certain regulatory compliance activities. The role has no direct reports but may occasionally supervise small teams and projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, risk or operational governance is required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including providing technical advice
