About The Position

The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, is
pivotal in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making within BNY.
This role is part of the Finance/Accounting job function and specifically falls
under the Financial Planning & Analysis job family. The primary focus is on
enhancing financial performance by providing robust financial analysis,
developing financial models, and supporting business planning processes. By
aligning with BNY's strategic pillars and principles, this position contributes
to fostering an innovative and collaborative environment while ensuring
financial integrity and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5-10 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a focus on enhancing processes and systems.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive financial models and forecasts by demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial analysis that supports business objectives and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial data.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against the budget, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Enhance financial processes and systems by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis that align with BNY's strategic goals.
