About The Position

The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, is pivotal in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making within BNY. This role is part of the Finance/Accounting job function and specifically falls under the Financial Planning & Analysis job family. The primary focus is on enhancing financial performance by providing robust financial analysis, developing financial models, and supporting business planning processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a focus on enhancing processes and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive financial models and forecasts by demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial analysis that supports business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial data.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against the budget, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Enhance financial processes and systems by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis that align with BNY's strategic goals.
