Position Overview: The Vice President of the Events Management Office (EMO) at Real Chemistry will lead the strategic direction and growth of the Meeting Planning & Speaker Bureau Services Business Unit. This role is responsible for aligning event management operations with organizational goals, driving innovation through healthcare industry and service type expertise, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. The VP will evaluate current service offerings, identify opportunities for improvement and scalability, and develop actionable plans to expand the EMO business. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, this position will enhance service delivery, ensure compliance, and advance Real Chemistry’s mission to transform healthcare through impactful events and communications.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of healthcare agency experience including 10+ years specifically focused on meeting planning/events management, speaker bureau management, and/or related medical education engagement strategy
  • Proven track record of building high functioning teams and scalable service models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and foster positive business relationships cross-functionally.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to guide and improve operational efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team within the Meeting Planning & Speaker Bureau Services Business Unit, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Enhance and evolve service offerings by assessing current capabilities, analyzing market trends, and implementing improvements to deliver best-in-class, client-focused, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to streamline service delivery, ensure compliance, and elevate the client experience across all touchpoints.
  • Evaluate and optimize centralized Speaker Bureau Services and Compliance operations, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and regulatory alignment.
  • Partner with technology and agency teams to assess technology solutions needed to support virtual engagement and speaker bureau offerings, leveraging innovation to meet evolving client needs and market demands.
  • Champion business development initiatives by tailoring services to client objectives, supporting proposal development, and securing new growth opportunities while maintaining financial sustainability.
  • Promote clear communication and partnership across internal teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with corporate strategies and goals.
