We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Corporate Actions team. This role location in New York, NY and is a hybrid position offering work flexibility. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 0-1 years in management preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or corporate actions preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a medium to large Corporate Actions team responsible for providing corporate action-related custody and accounting processing.
  • Monitor the workload of the team to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and in compliance with department procedures.
  • Review daily control reports and approve the work product and operational output of staff to ensure accuracy on corporate actions activity.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, depositories, agents, and brokers to ensure daily work meets organizational standards.
  • Provide training for new team members and cross-training of all team members.
  • Ensure adequate staffing allocation, performance, and personnel management of the team.
  • Develop policies and procedures and manage written supervisory procedures.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness.
  • Manage team goals, human resources including coaching, performance management, and career development.
  • May manage financial resources of the team such as budgets and expenses.
