The Vice President Corporate Account Manager (CAM) - Employee Workplace Solutions position within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) is a key business development role focused on growing our client base through the sale of personal IWPB products (Premier/Private Bank) to the employees, partners and owners of our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) clients. The role holder will engage with the wider Employee Workplace Solutions (EWS) Team, WPB/CIB/PB Relationship Managers, and other key stakeholders in the strategy, planning, and fulfilment requirements of newly sourced and existing to bank managed relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven and progressive corporate banking sales experience or equivalent
• Strong sales, managerial, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external corporate clients
• Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network

Responsibilities

• Grow IWPB new-to-bank clients/accounts, deepen and retain relationships
• Grow revenue, and initiate/develop and maintain cross line of business and local and global relationships with key stakeholders and leaders, Relationship Managers, and Senior Management to drive EWS growth
• Build a network of referral partners
• Ensure compliance and actively manage operational risk in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards and policies
• Collaborate with the Digital Account Opening, International Banking Center, Wealth, and Wealth Center teams to ensure proper focus on strategy and deliverables
• Collaborate with the Customer Team, the EWS CAM to prepare and implement direct sales and marketing plans designed to develop and establish corporate relationships along with accompanying individual sales results
