About The Position

Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time customer service representative to join their team. They are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who enjoy dogs and cats and want to work alongside a busy team. At Valley Veterinary Hospital, they are passionate about the care they provide for both pets and clients. The client service representative will support the goal of maintaining a cheerful, positive, and professional environment for clients and their pets while providing them with what they need. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, though rotating Saturday shifts will be required. Valley Vet emphasizes preventative and wellness care, and also offers a full range of services including surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasonography, and in-house lab work. Requirements

  • Veterinary experience of 1+ year
  • Must have a passion for people and their pets
  • Be cheerful, positive, professional, compassionate, and a team player
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, multi-task
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Stand, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of basic animal behavior and medical terminology
  • Weekend and evening availability, as the hospital is open 6 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and emails
  • Scan in and maintain accurate records
