Village Veterinarian in Lady Lake, FL is seeking a warm, organized, and dedicated Part-time Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Specialist) to join our compassionate team. This role supports smooth daily operations by providing excellent customer service, accurate record-keeping, and reliable administrative assistance to our healthcare team. Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous veterinary or medical reception experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
  • Manage check-ins, check-outs, client communications, and appointment scheduling
  • Answer and triage phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide general service information
  • Maintain accurate client/patient records, forms, and financial transactions
  • Assist with patient admissions and discharges, including preparing documents and reviewing instructions with clients
  • Handle payments, invoices, estimates, and basic cash-drawer reconciliation
  • Support the flow of the practice by preparing and organizing medical files and maintaining a tidy reception area
  • Communicate effectively with doctors and technicians
  • Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, mailings, reminders, and filing
